Lisa and her dog Stanley (a Cairn terrier/Bichon mix) are a registered therapy dog team with Paws for Friendship. which means that they are available to visit schools and libraries with the Paws for Reading program. Studies have shown that children who read out loud to a therapy dog regularly have increased the number of sight words recognized and gained confidence in their reading ability. Lisa and Stanley are happy to visit libraries and schools either in conjunction with a Pockets Full of fun show or as a stand alone visit. Please contact Lisa for more information or to ask questions.
There are many Stanley activities available to print off on the Fun Stuff and Downloads page!
Stanley even has his own Facebook page!
